  RESOURCES
Economic Research Group is a unique experiment in developing an organizational culture with flexibility and minimal overheads. It primarily connects human resources through an effectively functioning internet service and computer-aided office software. It has currently a small office setup with six desktops and and two network printers, with provisions for additional connections in a LAN environment. The users, who may just hop in at any time, may connect with the internet from any of these connections. ERG accounts are maintained by an administrative-cum-accounts officer, and all such matters are organized in self-developed excel-based templates.

ERG website is a key platform around which much of the disseminations take place. While a web manager undertakes the load of providing basic design, researchers affiliated with ERG regularly interact to provide their inputs into the design. We aim at decentralizing web-based activities so that several researchers may simultaneously contribute towards updating the site.

It is important to note that ERG purposively aims at maintaining a low resource base in terms of tangible physical infrastructures, such as, training centers, accommodations, and other facilities. It believes that the markets for such services are now well-developed in the city, and an organization may benefit by relying on such services. In addition, the network of organizations with which ERG has collaborated over its limited period of existence, which includes Brac, East West University and North South University, is a major source to draw upon through collaborative efforts.

The backbone of ERG activities is the pool of researchers, and the activities that attract young ones into the fold. Various persons who are involved with ERG activities and may make their services available depending on the areas of their interests, are listed below. You may learn more on them by accessing linked sites.
