You may choose any of the following three categories to search for information in this website:
- NGO Name
- Programme Name
- Upazila Name
By choosing an NGO name, you may find its programme and upazila coverage, including preliminary information on the size of beneficiaries (and where possible, distribution of the target population). Alternatively, you may choose a programme and look for NGOs having such a program as well as the upazilas where such programs exist. It is important to note that ‘Broad Programme’ or ‘Programme Type’ were defined by us after reflecting on thousands of Activity Names and their reported characteristics in terms of activity type and target beneficiaries. While displaying information on Programmes, we have included both Broad Programme Name and the (specific) Programme Type under each broad group, while ‘Activity Names ’ are the names of the Programmes/Projects as normally reported by the NGOs.
There are a number of ways one may take in order to look for specific information:
Click on Search in the menu on left column, available in all pages; which will take you to a search window. You will choose the selection, write parts or whole name of the selected item (an NGO, a Programme, or a Upazila), and find the matched items to further narrow down your selection. OR Use the Drop-Down Menu on the top, choose your selection, and click on GO. The names under each category are ordered in alphabetical order to help reduce your search time.
To go by upazila name, there is an additional way. You may click on a spot in the Map and get the information on the respective upazila.
It is important to note that the information on beneficiary coverage are preliminary and there may be unintended errors. NGOs seeking to update or correct information on them are requested to fill-in the Info Update Form and click on Submit.
[Note: An Upazila is a bounded territorial unit where the lowest tier of the government administrative entity exists.]
